Concert calendar: Upcoming shows in the Twin Cities

The Twin Cities area is a hot spot for concerts. Many artists and bands are making their way to Minnesota this spring for their upcoming tours. Here is a list of shows by genre that should be on your concert radar.

POP/ROCK

Lorde’s Melodrama World Tour at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN. The show is on March 23 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $39.50. Known for “Homemade Dynamite,” “Green Light” and “Royals.”

Andy Grammer’s The Good Parts Tour at Music Hall Minneapolis in Minneapolis, MN. The show is March 27 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $30.50. Must be 18 years and over. Known for “Honey, I’m Good,” “Fine By Me” and “Fresh Eyes.”

AJR’s The Click Tour at Music Hall Minneapolis in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 8 at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices vary by ticket exchange sites. Known for “Weak” and “Sober Up.”

5 Seconds of Summer’s 5SOS3 Tour at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 15 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $29.50. Known for “Want You Back,” “Amnesia” and “She Looks So Perfect.”

X Ambassadors’ The Joyful Tour at Myth Live in Maplewood, MN. The show is May 1 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $30.50. Known for “Unsteady” and “Renegades.”

Little Big Town’s The Breakers Tour at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 5 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $22.50. Known for “Better Man,” “Pontoon” and “Boondocks.”

Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun Tour at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. The show is May 5 at 5 p.m. Ticket prices start at $80.00.  Known for “All the Pretty Girls,” “American Kids” and “Somewhere With You.”

Randy Houser at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN. The show is May 12 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $35.00. Must be 18 years old and over. Known for “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “How Country Feels.”

Shania Twain’s NOW Tour at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN. The show is May 15 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices vary by ticket exchange site. Known for “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and “You’re Still The One.”

RAP/HIP HOP

Timeflies’ Too Much To Dream Tour at Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 8 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $25.00. Must be 15 years old or accompanied by parent or guardian. Known for “Raincoat,” “Once In a While” and “Gravity.”

Skizzy Mars at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 20 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $20.00. Must be 18 years old and over. Known for “Time (feat. G-Eazy & Olivver the Kid).”

Jake Miller’s Hit and Run Tour at First Avenue 7th St Entry in Minneapolis, MN. The show is May 9 at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $20.00. Known for “Can’t Help Myself,” “Dazed and Confused (feat. Travie McCoy)” and “Parties.”

CHRISTIAN

AWAKE 2018 – Rise Up at Bethel University’s Benson Great Hall in Arden Hills, MN. The show is April 7 at 7 p.m. The event is free.

Hillsong Worship’s There Is More Tour at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, MN. The show is April 12 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $30.00. Known for “What A Beautiful Name” and “Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace).”

MercyME at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. The show is April 13 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $27.00. Known for “I Can Only Imagine” and “Even If.”

Rend Collective’s The Good News Tour at Northwestern’s Knight Hall with special guest Mack Brock. The show is April 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. Ticket prices start at $18 for college students and $22 general admission. Rend Collective is known for “My Lighthouse” and “Build Your Kingdom Here.”
